Reviewed in Canada on May 6, 2017 Verified Purchase I gave 5 star because of 2 things. 1- fast delivery, 2- easy setup and run without any hassle . even though i'm very new to this machine. and this is my first Raspberry pi machine. actually this package has everything you need to start up the Raspberry Pi 3 without searching online for software. and it's has 32GB micro sd card. sure you can go for a cheaper package and go online to download software etc. as i said no hassle for new user. fast machine. up and running in few minutes. instruction very easy to follow. i'm still discovering new things about it and learning more . very interesting.. will update this review as i go.. for now go for it without any hesitate. Reviewed in Canada on January 12, 2018 Verified Purchase This was a great buy. Comes with everything needed to get started, including WiFi and Bluetooth. I wish there was a power cord with a power switch tho. NOOBS comes pre-installed on a micro USB and is really easy to install. I'm having fun learning how to code in python. I bought this to create home automation. Although I haven't yet built the code, I'm developing my knowledge in the programming world. If you are looking to built robots, or other mechanical stuff, you may want to buy some add-ons, like a breadboard or sensors. Reviewed in Canada on March 8, 2018 Verified Purchase I have the programming, coding and mechanical skills of a dead lemming, so believe me when I say this really was fairly easy to make my own retropie with! I was devastated when the SNES classic came out, and my favorite game (of course) was not included (2nd and 3rd faves were). Then was informed I could make a better one. it's taken me over 12 hours over the course of two days, but it's up and running great! My wireless keyboard with USB dongle works every time, and my PS4 controller works perfectly once I get the bluetooth to connect. My SNES 8bitdo controller works like a dream, except I'm still having hotkey issues with it - once I'm in a game, I can't get out unless I use my PS4 (wired in) or keyboard. Again, dead lemming skills here. However the pie itself works great for me! Just a warning for everyone who doesn't know better like me before buying this kit - the only way to power down the system is to shut it down with a command in the interface, then unplug. Personally, I wish this kit came with a power cord with the on/off switch, as I've now bought one separate to make it easier to use, rather than bothering with the plugs. Also wound up buying a cuter case, so now have spare case. But that's ok, now I kinda know how, I think I'll pickup a second pi at some point to make a media center. That can use the default case. So if you plan to buy a different case, this one isn't needed. Obviously, if you know what you're doing, you don't need this kit unless it is exactly what you're looking for, but I now have the guidebook and such for if I get a pi on its own for my media center. So a very good buy for a beginner like me :) Reviewed in Canada on September 24, 2017 Verified Purchase Would have give 5 stars but sometimes when you order the 32gb kit it can come with a Samsung Evo microSD but sometimes it comes with their cheap Canakit microSD those fail so badly. 2 of them failed on me so far, all my Pi's running Samsung's and SanDisk's mSDHC are still running strong. Stop with the terrible Chinese microSD cards please. Edit: Giving it a 5 star ! Canakit is amazing and will replace my sd card since this has a 1 year warranty. Quick response and great customer service. It's a pleasure to deal with a company like that. Reviewed in Canada on April 19, 2016 Verified Purchase Great kit except that the case required some modification. First, there is no hole for the LEDs (Power/Activity) on the side, so I had to drill one. The other little issue again with the case is that the MicroSD card required some force from the top to insert it. I solve it but sanding the case to remove 1/32". Note: The Raspberry Pi 3 SD socket is different and doesn't have anymore a "click push latch / push release", only straight insert with locking mechanism. Reviewed in Canada on February 28, 2018 Verified Purchase Nice kit, get everything you need with it. Great value for money. Cons. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase, lovely little kit. Reviewed in Canada on September 18, 2018 Verified Purchase I've bought two of these, no problems. Easy as pi to assemble. Ha ha! Pun! Both have retropi os with kodi installed, the ultimate TV box in my opinion. Far more stable than the android ones in my experience. The added heatsinks are nice. This kit includes everything you need to get started whatever your project is. The case itself is well built. My only complaint is that it is not built for a fan. I find when running x265 videos it tends to overheat the pi. The pi doesn't have the capability to run many x265 videos anyway. Very minor gripe. Nobody really uses x265 due to the processor demand anyway.... Reviewed in Canada on December 2, 2017 Verified Purchase I bought this kit to build a retro gaming console using the Retropie software/app to play NES and SNES games as a great alternative to buying the Nintendo Classic. I've never built a computer before but this was actually very easy to set up thanks to the detailed instructions. I was playing games within 15 minutes of opening the box.Reviews with images

1. Tape they provide to attach the heat-sinks looks like mirror tape/double sided tape, that foam kind. Does not look like proper heat sink tape.
2. Be careful when putting in the sd micro card into the sd card reader, it tends to want to slide it slightly skew and if it does, its very hard to remove.
3. I have noticed that sometimes (At time of writing review, 4 times), my wifi becomes unusable and very slow. Have trouble connecting too my router from any device. My pi is around 10 meters from the router and in another room so cant be an interference issue.
I need to power of the Pi completely, then my wifi comes back to normal, and then switch the pi back on. Does not seem to happen if I have the wifi disabled and only use the LAN.
My only complaint is that there is no ON/OFF button. You can turn it off in the menu but then to turn it back on, you have to unplug the power cord and plug it back in for it to boot up. Not ideal.
Also, the micro-SD card that came with it died after about 2 months. It was a no-name one so probably not that great, quality-wise. I have since replaced it with a Sandisk card and haven't had any issues.
